Massage does more than ease muscle tension. By working through the soft tissue and supporting the body’s natural ability to recover, it can have a real impact on pain, movement, stress and sleep. I offer a full range of remedial and holistic treatments from my studio in East Brighton, tailored to what your body actually needs.
Most clients come in with a specific problem and leave feeling better in ways they didn’t expect. Whether you need deep tissue work, myofascial release, sports massage or simply an hour to properly switch off, you’re in the right place.
EXCELLENT Based on 70 reviews Posted on Google Kristen HowellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If you’re looking for the best massage in Brighton, look no further. I honestly can’t recommend Jack enough. I booked in for a sports massage after dealing with back pain and stubborn knots for years, and I was genuinely blown away by the difference afterwards. I’ve lived in three different countries and have had a lot of massages over the years, and this was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. He really listens to what’s going on with your body and tailors the treatment to you. The whole experience felt calm and comfortable from the moment I arrived. He creates such a relaxing environment and immediately puts you at ease. I walked out feeling so much looser and lighter, and areas of tension I’ve had for years finally felt relieved. You can tell he’s incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely cares about helping people feel better. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a sports or deep tissue massage in Brighton.Posted on Google Reece JarvisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a deep tissue sports massage for a long term shoulder issue and this treatment has made a huge difference. Jack is excellent, skilled and knowledgable and really took time to understand my issues.Posted on Google Lou AzusadaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently had a relaxation massage session with Jack, including a hot towel treatment, and it was such a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, he welcomed me with a warm smile, and the cozy room with its pleasant scent immediately made me feel relaxed and comfortable. It was my first session with him, and he even included a complimentary hot stone treatment, which was absolutely amazing. Throughout the session, he consistently checked if the pressure was okay, making sure I was comfortable the entire time. What I appreciated most was how thoughtful and caring he was — he even checked on me shortly after the session to make sure I was feeling well. Overall, it was a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience, and I’m already looking forward to my next session with him. Highly recommended!Posted on Google Nick FoxTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I needed a massage for my right shoulder as I am recovering from a frozen shoulder. I contacted Health By Hands asking lots of questions in advance. I found the service to be excellent. A good consultation for a deep tissue / sports massage. The actual treatment was given in a lovely relaxing room with nice relaxing music, I felt comfortable and relaxed and I fell asleep towards the end off the treatment. Excellent service given by a true professional bravo, def recommend and will return again.Posted on Google 1paulwbTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Do I need to undress for a massage?
No — you undress only to your comfort level. Most people remove some clothing so I can work directly on the skin, but remaining fully clothed is always an option, such as with Myofascial Release.
If you do undress, underwear should be kept on at all times. You’ll be covered by a sheet or towel throughout, with only the area being worked on exposed. Your comfort and privacy are always my priority.
What's the difference between deep tissue and Swedish massage?
Swedish massage is your classic relaxing massage — long, flowing strokes, light-to-medium pressure, great for stress relief and just unwinding. Think spa day vibes.
Deep tissue still relaxing but also goes way harder. It targets the deeper layers of muscle using slow, firm pressure to break up knots and tension. It can actually be a little uncomfortable in spots, but it works wonders for chronic pain or tight muscles from working out.
The short version: Swedish is for relaxation, deep tissue is for fixing something.
