Sports, Holistic & Remedial Massage in Brighton

Massage does more than ease muscle tension. By working through the soft tissue and supporting the body’s natural ability to recover, it can have a real impact on pain, movement, stress and sleep. I offer a full range of remedial and holistic treatments from my studio in East Brighton, tailored to what your body actually needs.

Most clients come in with a specific problem and leave feeling better in ways they didn’t expect. Whether you need deep tissue work, myofascial release, sports massage or simply an hour to properly switch off, you’re in the right place.

Why Choose Health By Hands

A Brighton Massage Therapist Who Listens

I take the time to understand what your body needs before every session. No rushing, no guesswork. Just honest, skilled hands-on work tailored specifically to you. I spend a lot of my spare time researching bodywork, both new developments and older traditional methods, because I find it genuinely fascinating. That curiosity means the techniques I use are always evolving and my clients get the benefit of that.

No — you undress only to your comfort level. Most people remove some clothing so I can work directly on the skin, but remaining fully clothed is always an option, such as with Myofascial Release.

If you do undress, underwear should be kept on at all times. You’ll be covered by a sheet or towel throughout, with only the area being worked on exposed. Your comfort and privacy are always my priority.

Swedish massage is your classic relaxing massage — long, flowing strokes, light-to-medium pressure, great for stress relief and just unwinding. Think spa day vibes.

Deep tissue still relaxing but also goes way harder. It targets the deeper layers of muscle using slow, firm pressure to break up knots and tension. It can actually be a little uncomfortable in spots, but it works wonders for chronic pain or tight muscles from working out.

The short version: Swedish is for relaxation, deep tissue is for fixing something.
